Our Alien statues are popular!
From 2017 to 2020, we embarked on an exhilarating journey to create three stunning replica statues of the iconic "warrior" Xenomorph from the 1986 film ALIENS for Smooth-0n/Reynolds Advanced Materials! This thrilling project was commissioned to showcase their incredible products like silicone, epoxy, and urethane resins. The first statue served as the "master model," from which over twenty molds were crafted, paving the way for all subsequent statues to be cast. Sculpted by Mike with invaluable assistance from Van Franklin, the statues were brought to life with contributions from our amazing team members, including Matthew Sylvester, Tom Baginski, Kate Kauffman, Kyle Sikora, and Jaroslav Kosmina.
One alien is permanently on display in the showroom at Smooth-On's headquarters in Macungie, PA. The second is located at the main branch of their distributor, Reynolds Advanced Materials, also in Macungie, and a third is at the Reynolds retail store in Burbank, CA.
